From its humble kiwi bach beginnings the holiday home now forms a sprawling relaxed ‘L’ of pavilions around the split level terrace and pool. This Bay of Islands bach celebrates light and space, being seldom more than one room deep and the living areas have series of sliding doors to enable whole walls to open to the terrace. The bathrooms, lined in pale timbers and with coloured floor tiles fuse a simple elegance with a beachside holiday feel.
